A safe mooring is available if bringing your own boat, or jump aboard our purpose built charter vessels for safe passage to Flinders Island! Guests will be treated to spectacular views of the rugged coastline and playful wildlife en route to Flinders Island.
Elliston – Flinders Island Transfer
Golden Roughy Barge Transfer: Purpose built 12 meter fast landing craft with indoor cabin seating and open deck surveyed to carry 12 passengers, luggage and larger items such as surfboards.
Gulden Zeepaert Adventure Transfer: 8 meter Nautic Star open deck vessel with comfortable outdoor seating, surveyed for 6 passengers.

By Air
Fly in yourself – private all weather airstrip located at the back door of the homestead
Important note: Due to the Flinders Island Safe Haven Eradication Project the island and airstrip will be closed from April 2025 until December 2025. Biosecurity measures will be in place following this date.
Flinders Island is a private airstrip and you do require permission to land. Self fly guests will be provided with airstrip information and biosecurity requirements following booking, or refer to the links below.
Avgas is available from either Wudinna, Ceduna or Port Lincoln Airports. Please contact us via email if you have any questions about the airstrip.

At times our guests may need to be flexible and prepared for travel at a particular time in the day, usually mid-morning, or very rarely a day either side of the booked dates. Our team will be in contact with guests in the lead up to travel to ensure the best possible outcome for all. In the unlilkely event that travel is not possible at all, a full refund will be issued.
